Greg, despite growing up surrounded by Indiana cornfields, did not become interested in the importance of agriculture until his studies in Biological Engineering at Purdue University where he saw the processing side of the food production system. This piqued his curiosity about the impact of the farm. Greg joined Peace Corps Guinea as an agricultural extension volunteer to learn sustainable farming practices. Experience in grassroots development showed him how to leverage his engineering skills for sustainable agriculture through technology, leading him to pursue his MS in Biosystems Engineering at Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. He is thrilled to use these experiences to help push the agricultural technology and automation revolution.
