Greg Schroll

Hardware Lead at Tortuga AgTech

Greg has a lifelong passion for robotics and is excited to be a part of the team at Tortuga where he can focus his energy on developing technology beneficial to humanity. He brings with him valuable experience engineering robust mechatronic hardware, including deep knowledge of actuators and sensors, materials and fabrication techniques for prototyping and production, and clever electromechanical design. His past experience includes sophisticated gimbal systems for the defense industry, as well as product development and mobile robotics R&D at two prior startups he was involved in. Greg earned a B.S. degree from MIT and an M.S. degree from Colorado State University both in Mechanical Engineering. On the occasions when he's not building something, Greg likes to swim and ride his motorcycle.
