Pavlo Cholach

Pavlo Cholach is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Staff Geophysicist at Torxen since December 2017, Pavlo previously held similar roles at Cenovus Energy in 2017 and at Taqa North from April 2011 to September 2016, where contributions included AVO inversion for reserves evaluation and horizontal development drilling in the Montney region. Prior experience at BP Canada Energy Company spanned from 2004 to 2011, focusing on geophysical risk assessments and major oil sands project developments. Pavlo's career commenced with internships at Petro Canada and BP, following the attainment of a Ph.D. in Geophysics/Rock Physics from the University of Alberta and a Specialist degree in Geophysics with Honors from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
