Jing Zhang has a strong background in the fashion industry, with experience in designing handbags and leather goods. Jing began their career in 2007 as a Womenswear Designer Assistant at Lead Studio, where they provided hand-drawn sketches for presentations and assisted with research and inspiration books. Jing then worked as a Womenswear/Menswear Designer at Sun House from 2008 to 2010, where they built concepts based on trends, materials, colors, and silhouettes, and created designs, sketches, and technical packages. In 2010, they joined Prada as a Leather goods Designer Assistant, where they supported the Senior Designer of Women's handbags and the Product Manager by creating precise hand renderings and technical packages for production. Jing then moved to Fendi in 2013 as a Leather goods Junior Designer, responsible for designing women's handbags and researching materials, colors, and new trends. Afterward, they joined Brioni in 2015 as a Senior Designer, working on the development of men's bags, belts, hardware, and small leather goods, and contributing to the visual identity of the brand. Currently, Jing Zhang is the Director Handbag Designer at Tory Burch, where they continue to apply their expertise and design skills in the fashion industry.
Jing Zhang graduated from Polimoda International School of Fashion and Marketing with a degree in fashion design (womenswear/menswear) from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, Jing Zhang briefly studied Chinese language and culture at the University of Oriental Languages in 2003.
