Juan Torres

Juan Torres has a diverse work experience in the fields of operations, business development, project management, procurement, and logistics. Juan started their career at Search Supply Management Inc. as a Logistic Analyst, specializing in procurement and supply chain management for the oil and gas industry. Juan then moved on to become a Procurement Manager at the same company. In 2015, they joined Basic Industrial Services as a Project Manager before transitioning to Tory Technologies, Inc. In their time at Tory Technologies, Inc., they held several roles including Business Development Coordinator, Business Development Project Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Operations. Overall, Juan has gained valuable experience in various industries and has developed strong skills in operations, project management, and business development.

Juan Torres has a diverse education history. Juan obtained a degree in Data Analytics and Visualization with a focus on Data Processing from Rice University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University between 2013 and 2015. In 2012 and 2013, Juan attended the University of San Francisco where they studied Supply Chain Management, specifically Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Before that, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations, at DeVry University from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Juan has also obtained several certifications. Juan received the "ICAgile Certified Professional" certification from ICAgile in October 2021. Earlier in September 2021, they completed the "Smart Contracts" course from Coursera Course Certificates, and in August 2021, they completed the "Blockchain Basics" course from the same institution. In June 2019, Juan gained certification in Python Programming from Rice University. Furthermore, they have a certification in Supply Chain Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn that they obtained in October 2016. Lastly, in May 2015, they completed the "Above Ground Pipe Coating and Inspection" certification from NCCER.
