Valerie Helbronner

Valerie Helbronner, ICD.D, is a distinguished infrastructure project lawyer with extensive experience in managing complex, multi-party projects. Currently serving as a Partner and Co-Chair of the Indigenous Practice Group at Torys LLP since January 2009, Valerie has played a pivotal role in leading some of Canada's most innovative power projects. Previous professional experience includes partnerships at Ogilvy Renault and Power Budd LLP, alongside an associate position at Stikeman Elliott. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University, as well as an ICD.D designation obtained from the Institute of Corporate Directors between June 2021 and December 2022.
