Jurgis Astrauskas

Jurgis Astrauskas has a strong background in technology development, business development, and technical marketing. Jurgis has worked in various companies and held several leadership positions throughout their career.

From 1995 to 1998, Jurgis served as the Technical Director and Project Manager at Viriteka. During this time, they managed the design and fabrication of semiautomatic welding machines and introduced electronic controls into manufacturing.

In 2000, Jurgis joined Emerson Appliance Controls as a Staff Engineer in the Research and Technology Department. Jurgis played a key role in integrating design concepts into projects and was the originator of six patent applications.

From 2005 to 2015, Jurgis worked at STMicroelectronics as a Technical Marketing Staff Engineer. Jurgis provided expert consultation on product design and applications, as well as defined new products and strategic marketing within selected market segments.

Since 2015, Jurgis has been employed by Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. Jurgis initially served as a Senior Business Development Manager, driving and winning designs with key customers. Jurgis then transitioned to the role of Director of Technology Development, where they provided engineering recommendations and led the Technical Development Team. Currently, Jurgis holds the position of Senior Director of Technology Development, focusing on new product development and innovation.

Jurgis Astrauskas has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology. In August 2020, they also obtained a certification in Inspirational Leadership Skills: Practical Motivational Leadership from LinkedIn.
