Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar serves as the Head of the Project Management Department at Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corp (TPSC Engineering) since June 2016, where responsibilities include formulating corporate strategies and managing the PMO for TPSC-Malaysia, with a focus on decarbonization initiatives. Prior experience includes roles such as Proposal Manager and Lead Mechanical Engineer, overseeing project teams for the preparation and management of proposals, and Senior Process Engineer at Siemens, contributing to large-scale projects like the DGEN Mega Power Project in India. Rakesh also held senior engineering positions at Steag Energy Services, TATA Power, and Hindustan Zinc, gaining extensive experience in operations and plant management. Education credentials include a PGDM in International Business from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the National Power Training Institute, along with specialized training in Green Hydrogen and Renewable Power.
