Seungwan Jo

Seungwan Jo is a skilled Data Engineer with extensive experience in building and optimizing data platforms for prominent companies such as Viva Republica (Toss), Bucketplace, Kakaobank, and NHN Entertainment Corp. Currently at Viva Republica, Seungwan Jo leads the design and architecture of a SaaS-based global data platform and has automated over 1,000 data pipelines using Apache Flink and Iceberg. At Bucketplace, significant accomplishments include building a Streaming Warehouse and developing a dynamic API that greatly enhanced business agility. Seungwan Jo also played a vital role at Kakaobank by creating an MLOps system for machine learning models and at NHN Entertainment, where key contributions included developing an on-demand segment extractor and improving data ingestion efficiency. Seungwan Jo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer & Information Communications Engineering from Hongik University.
