Catherine Alderson

Catherine Alderson is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the telecommunications and events industries. Currently serving as Head of Sales for Connected North at Total Telecom since May 2025, Catherine previously held the position of Commercial Portfolio Director of FT Specialist Events at Financial Times from April 2022 to May 2025. Catherine's experience also includes roles as Regional Sales Manager for MWC Barcelona and MWC Shanghai at GSMA from March 2019 to April 2022, and Business Development Manager at Wilmington plc and IJGlobal from July 2017 to June 2017, where significant contributions were made to the global infrastructure market. Earlier in career, Catherine worked as an Account Manager at PPA, the trade association for magazine publishers in the UK. Catherine holds a BA (Hons) in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent.
