Efrain Zapata

Efrain Zapata is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as Project Manager for Zero Carbon Emissions Assets at TotalEnergies since September 2019, following a role as Production Optimization Solutions Manager. Previously, Efrain held various positions at Total, including Focal Point Onshore Well Performance, and led well performance teams at North Oil Company Qatar and Total Gabon. Efrain's expertise is rooted in well performance studies, optimization, and reservoir engineering, evident from earlier roles at Total E&P and Sincor. Efrain holds a Master in Renewable Energies from VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from IFP School in France, complemented by a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
