Florent SAN JUAN has a comprehensive background in safety engineering and risk management. Florent started their career in 2006 as a Methods engineer apprentice at ENGIE Solutions France. Florent then worked as a Safety engineer apprentice at GRTgaz GDF-SUEZ from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they joined TotalEnergies as a Safety engineer trainee. Florent continued their career at DNV as a Safety & Reliability Engineer from January 2010 to May 2010. Florent returned to TotalEnergies as a Safety Engineer from May 2010 to February 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they served as the Head of Safety Engineering Department at Teréga. In 2012, they also worked as a Lecturer for the Specialized Masters in "Gas Engineering and Management" at Mines Paris School. Florent then rejoined TotalEnergies in multiple roles, including Lead Safety Engineering from November 2014 to August 2018, Head of Risk Management and Emergency Planning Department from September 2018 to May 2021, and currently, as the Technical Safety Lead Engineer since May 2021.
Florent San Juan completed a Master of Science degree in Process Engineering from Mines Paris in 2008.
