Humberto Barbosa

Humberto Barbosa has extensive experience in procurement, with their most recent role being the Head of Procurement at Total since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Valeo as the South America Segment Leader / Purchasing Coordinator from November 2012 to December 2017. Humberto also held the position of Purchasing Coordinator at Continental Resources from July 2011 to November 2012, and at Inteva Products LLC from July 2008 to July 2011. Humberto has further experience as an Advanced Purchasing Engineer at Arvin Meritor do Brasil Sistemas Automotivos Ltda. from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they worked as a Purchasing Engineer at Benteler Automotive Brasil from June 2006 to June 2008, and as a Purchasing Coordinator at Embraer from July 2002 to May 2006. Humberto began their career as a Supply Chain Analyst at ZF Group from January 1998 to June 2002.

Humberto Barbosa holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Economia e Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Universidade Santa Cecília between 1997 and 2003. Humberto also has a degree as a Mechanical Technician from ETE Lauro Gomes, which they completed from 1990 to 1993.
