Iain Brotchie

Iain Brotchie has a solid work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Iain started their career as a Parliamentary Assistant at the Office of Anne Begg MP from October 2002 to June 2004. Following this, they worked as a Communications Officer at ASH Scotland from June 2004 to February 2007. Iain then transitioned to Fleishman-Hillard, where they served as a Public Affairs Account Manager from February 2007 to March 2010. Moving forward, they joined the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as the Head of External Relations (Scotland) from March 2010 to June 2013. Afterward, they took on various roles at TotalEnergies, starting as a Senior Public Affairs and Communications Advisor from June 2013 to June 2014. Iain then held the position of Corporate Communications Manager from June 2014 to July 2018. Subsequently, they were promoted to Vice President, UK Communications and served in this role from March 2018 to March 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, E&P Communications at TotalEnergies, starting from March 2022.

Iain Brotchie earned a Bachelor of Arts (honors) degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Aberdeen in 1999. Iain later pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Research degree in Political Science in 2002.
