Sang Ratnam

Sang Ratnam is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Country Chair for India at TotalEnergies and Chairman and Managing Director of TotalEnergies Gas and Power Projects India Pvt. Ltd. Since joining TotalEnergies in 2002, Sang has held various key positions, including Chief Operating Officer for Gas, Renewables & Power, Director of Business for Renewables & Carbon Neutrality related to Papua LNG, and Vice President for Libya. Earlier career highlights include significant roles in business development and project management across the Middle East and North Africa, as well as engineering positions in geotechnical and civil domains. Sang holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.
