Tonatiuh Monroy

Tonatiuh Monroy has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Tonatiuh started their career as a Finance auditor at Mazars from 2002 to 2004. Tonatiuh then joined TotalEnergies and held various roles such as Internal Controller from 2005 to 2008, Finance Controller Africa-Middle East from 2008 to 2011, Chief Financial Officer of Total Tanzania Ltd from 2011 to 2014, CFO- General Secretary of Total Ethiopia SC from 2014 to 2015, Financial Controller of Total Gaz Renewables & Power Branch from 2015 to 2019, CFO - General Secretary of Total Renewables from 2019 to 2020, Finance Director Renewables at TotalEnergies from 2020 to 2023, and currently serves as the Director Process & Compliance at TotalEnergies. Throughout their career, Tonatiuh has demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, consolidation, compliance, treasury, credit control, internal control, governance, and information systems management. Tonatiuh has also been responsible for finance, human resources, IT, safety, quality, and governance. Additionally, they have experience in project finance, M&A operations, and subsidiary creation and integration.

Tonatiuh Monroy obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathématiques de finance from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.
