Tom Oakley has a diverse work experience in software engineering and web development.

From 2018 to the present, Tom worked at TotallyMoney as a Senior Engineer, where they were involved in hiring, line management, native app architecture, devops, and developer experience. Tom also worked on push notifications, deep linking, and other features in the prior position.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2017, they worked as a React Native Engineer at TotallyMoney, where they contributed to various projects including integrating biometric login, developing Credit Report Analysis, and implementing A/B testing framework.

In 2017-2018, Tom served as an Associate Software Engineer at Veritas Technologies LLC, where they worked on Veritas Connection Centre and the redevelopment of Information Map for a new cloud platform.

Tom was also a Full-stack JavaScript Developer at imin (IMIN LTD) from 2015 to 2017, where they developed the front-end of their physical activity searchable platform and assisted in developing their core platform/API.

Additionally, Tom has experience as a Co-Founder, developer, and designer at 5 Lines Creative, where they completed WordPress websites for clients from 2011 to 2016.

Tom began their career as a Junior front-end developer at Spirit Labs Ltd in 2015, where they worked on the Lepton app, improving the user experience and marketing.

Tom also had a role as a Junior Web Developer at Rawnet in 2013, where they worked on website development projects for clients like ITV, Thomson Local, and Gumball 3000.

Tom Oakley attended Yateley School from 2006 to 2011, where they completed their GCSEs. Tom then went on to Yateley Sixth Form from 2011 to 2013 and studied subjects such as Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and History. Finally, they attended Brunel University London from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
