Rachel Griffith-Boyes has a diverse range of work experience in the learning and development field. Rachel is currently the Head of Community Services at Totara Learning, where they lead a team responsible for supporting and building the Totara Community. Prior to this role, they were the Academy Manager at Totara Learning, where they led the development of the Totara Academy and managed the instructional design, project management, and recruitment for the team.
Rachel also worked as a Learning Designer and Director at RGB Learning Limited, a Learning Consultant at LEO Learning, and a Learning Design Consultant at CAA International. Rachel has experience in instructional design and training implementation, particularly in the humanitarian sector, as seen in their role as a Training and Instructional Designer for the PARCEL Project at Oxfam.
Earlier in their career, Rachel worked as a Lead Designer and Learning Designer at Epic Performance Improvement Limited, where they were responsible for the high-level design and development of e-learning programs. Rachel also worked as a Learning Designer at Me Learning, where they were part of a team responsible for the design and delivery of e-learning programs for public sector clients.
Rachel began their career as a Junior Sales Assistant at Mentec. Throughout their various roles, Rachel has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, project management skills, and a focus on client satisfaction.
Rachel Griffith-Boyes earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loughborough University in 2004. Rachel later obtained a Master of Arts degree in Music from Newcastle University in 2005. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a PARCEL Pilot Co-Facilitator from Oxfam through Credly in 2014.
