Justin Laing

Justin Laing serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Tote Technologies since December 2024, focusing on enhancing seamless experiences for enterprise retailers. Prior to this role, Laing was the VP of Engineering at Jane Technologies, Inc., where efforts centered on developing the Jane POS system for cannabis dispensaries. Experience includes a significant tenure at Google as a Staff Software Engineer, following a transition from Looker where Laing held the position of Director of Engineering, contributing to the creation of specialized data applications. Laing co-founded Crank Logic, serving as CEO and enabling independent retailers to leverage data for improved business outcomes. Educationally, Laing holds a BA in Computer Science and Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
