Emily Whatling

Emily Whatling possesses extensive experience in sports physiotherapy, currently serving as the Head of Medicine at Tottenham Hotspur Women Football Club since November 2022. Prior to this role, Emily worked as a Physiotherapist for the England Women’s Senior Team at The Football Association from January 2017 to August 2023, providing consultancy during training camps domestically and internationally. Additional notable positions include Lead Physiotherapist for England and GB Men’s/Women’s Hockey with the English Institute of Sport, Team GB Senior Physio at the Rio Olympics 2016, and Senior Physiotherapist for various rugby clubs including London Irish and London Welsh. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Rehabilitation from The University of Salford.
