Simon Morris

Simon Morris currently serves as the Head of Medicine and Sports Doctor at Leicester City Football Club since June 2023. Additional roles include Tutor at the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine since April 2023 and Associate Lecturer in Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire since January 2023. Morris has extensive experience as a Sports Medicine Physician with Burnley Football Club from July 2010 to December 2022, where responsibilities included serving as the First Team Doctor and Head of Medical Services. Previous positions also encompass roles at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and various sports organizations, including Dallaglio RugbyWorks and Lancashire Cricket Club. Educational qualifications include membership in the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath, along with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Liverpool.
