Ruqayyah Fombo

Ruqayyah Fombo has a diverse background in education and community engagement, currently serving as a Retail Assistant and Steward at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club since August 2019. In February 2024, Ruqayyah transitioned to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation as an Education Coach, delivering the Premier League Inspires program in secondary schools and mentoring students individually. Previous roles include Program Facilitator at NCS - National Citizen Service Trust in September 2023, Careers, Work Experience and Enrichment Coordinator at Oasis Academy Hadley, and Team Leader at NCS, focusing on the progression of youth. Additional experience comprises positions as Attendance and Pastoral Officer at Ada. National College for Digital Skills, Teacher at Safar Academy, Clearing Assistant at London Metropolitan University, and Governance Clerk roles at The One Degree Academy Free School and London Academy of Excellence. Ruqayyah is currently pursuing a Race Media and Social Justice MA at Goldsmiths, University of London, building on a BA in Media with Arabic from London Metropolitan University.
