Dennis Espey

VP Technology Hardware at Totum

Dennis Espey has extensive experience in the technology industry. Dennis currently holds the position of VP Technology Hardware at Totum Labs since April 2019. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at Caracal Technologies from January 2018 to April 2019. From 2008 to 2017, they held the role of Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at OnRamp Wireless (Ingenu). Before that, they worked as a project manager at Sierra Wireless in 2007. Dennis also worked at Freescale Semiconductor as an Engineering Manager from 2004 to 2006, where they developed the first certified SD-Card WiFi card and platform, along with other FPGA-based development platforms for Wireless Development. Earlier in their career, they held the position of CDMA Program Manager at Philips Semiconductors from 1995 to 2002 and Engineering Manager at CSyS from 1995 to 1997. Dennis began their career at Motorola in 1988, where they worked in DSP Engineering and Project Management.

Dennis Espey attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1983, where they received a Diploma of Technology in Instrumentation.
