Hanne Merritt

Hanne Merritt is a Sr. Scientist at Totus Medicines since January 2023, with previous experience as a Scientist II at Maze Therapeutics from October 2018 to December 2022 and a consultant at Third Rock Ventures in October 2018. Hanne spent over 12 years at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), where roles included Scientific Technical Leader I and Scientist II. Prior to that, Hanne worked as a Sr. Research Specialist at Chiron from June 1996 to April 2006 and began a career in research as a Research Assistant at UCSF and UCB from August 1994 to June 1996. Additional experience includes a Research Associate position at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign from 1991 to 1994, and graduate studies at the University of Copenhagen from September 1985 to September 1993, culminating in a Cand. Scient degree in Biochemistry.
