Surprise Sekgota's journey began after completing his Diploma in Marketing Management. With a wealth of experience as a Marketing Manager for various companies, he harbored ambitions of creating his own mark in the industry, this desire intensified after he got retrenched.

In 2016, he courageously embarked on a transformative journey by establishing Touch SA Marketing. Fueled by a vision of revolutionizing digital advertising in townships, he set out to own a LED billboard, symbolizing a shift in the landscape of outdoor advertising. Unlike traditional methods, digital billboards eliminate the need for printing, offering a significant cost advantage. This innovation serves as a catalyst for local small businesses, enabling them to harness the power of outdoor advertising affordably. By leveraging this technology, businesses can expand their reach and connect with a broader audience, propelling growth and prosperity within their communities.

However, the path to realizing his dream was fraught with challenges. Sekgota faced the daunting task of navigating the bureaucratic maze of obtaining permits and funding for his digital billboard. Despite his determination, the financial burden proved overwhelming.

Touch SA Marketing's journey took a monumental leap forward after he secured funding. The funds were meticulously allocated towards fulfilling the requirements for the digital billboard installation. Despite facing challenges such as financial constraints and resistance from competitors, Sekgota remained undeterred.

As the digital billboard went live in December 2023, Sekgota's vision became a reality. Yet, the journey is far from over. With the first advertisement set to air in April 2024, additional funding is needed to ensure the sustainability and growth of Touch SA Marketing. Sekgota's goal is ambitious – to expand his business across Gauteng, becoming a trailblazer in the industry.
