Barış Çakar

Barış Çakar is the current Chief Operating Officer at Touché Privé. Prior to this, they were the Director Of Ecommerce at DeFacto from September 2016 to January 2021. Before that, they were the Founder of RetailCake from March 2015 to September 2016.

Çakar began their career in October 2006 as the Head of Business opportunities at Koton Mağazacılık. In this role, they were responsible for Business opportunities, Global Product Strategy, new line opportunities, and Global expension. Barış also conducted market surveys and developed market strategy. In June 2005, they left Koton Mağazacılık to join Tesco International Sourcing as a Merchandiser. Barış left Modernteks in April 2004 to join SGS as an Inspector. Barış remained in this role until November 2001 when they left to join Tesco International Sourcing.

Barış Çakar studied textile sciences and engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Barış then attended Sırrı Yırcalı Anadolu Lisesi.
