Annie Derry has diverse work experience in various industries. Annie currently works as a Process Development Scientist at Touchlight since March 2022. Prior to this, they were employed as a Bioscience Technician at Aston University from December 2018 to August 2020. Annie also served as a Genetics Intern at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust from September 2019 to January 2020. In 2017, they had an internship at The New York Times. In addition, Annie worked as an Administrative Assistant at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from June 2016 to September 2016.

Annie Derry began their education at Newcastle University in 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. Annie studied at Newcastle University for a period of three years, completing their degree in 2018.
