Shivam Bhatt

Shivam Bhatt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of protein development and research. Shivam is currently working at Touchlight as a Senior Protein Development Scientist since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NovalGen, where they held multiple roles from September 2019 to June 2022, including Technical Specialist I (Senior Scientist), Scientist, and Research Technician. Before joining NovalGen, Shivam worked at The University of Nottingham as a PhD researcher in the School of Life Sciences from September 2014 to September 2018, where they made notable contributions to the field of genetic engineering. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Summer Research Intern at New England Biolabs in 2017 and as a Final Year Undergraduate Research Student at The University of Nottingham in 2014. Shivam also worked as a Summer Research Student at The University of Nottingham, The FRAME Alternatives Laboratory in 2013.

Shivam Bhatt pursued their education in the field of Biochemistry. Shivam completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at the University of Nottingham from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry from 2014 to 2018.
