Emily Sizen

Emily Sizen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2019, they worked as a Pro-shop Attendant and Bartender at Fairway Shores Executive Golf Course. In the same year, they also worked as a Staff Reporter at Minnesota Daily. In 2020, Emily began working as an Elk River High School Speech Coach and a Competitive Speech Judge at ISD 728. Emily joined Influx Magazine in 2022 as a Writing and Editing Staff Member. Currently, Emily is employed at Touchpoint Media, Inc. as a Content Writer, starting in February 2023.

Emily Sizen completed their high school education at Elk River Senior High School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Studies. Following that, they pursued further education at the University of Minnesota from 2018 to 2022. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and English. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Writing Ad Copy from LinkedIn in September 2022 and in Spanish Language Proficiency from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota in December 2019.
