Brian Gordon began their work experience in 1988 as a Lecturer at West Virginia University. Brian then joined GE in 1989 as a Product Development Engineer and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined Touchstone Research Laboratory as a Senior Program Manager. Brian later became the Laboratory Director in 2010 and eventually the R&D Director in 2016. Brian Gordon completed their high school education at Wheeling Central Catholic High School from 1976 to 1980. Brian then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Wheeling University, graduating in 1984. Following that, Brian enrolled at West Virginia University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Experimental Solid State Physics from 1984 to 1988.
