George L.

George L. has a strong background in data science and engineering. George was a Lead Data Scientist at Toumetis since March 2023 and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist in the same company since October 2019. Prior to their work at Toumetis, George worked at Digital Engineering Ltd as a Data Scientist from February 2018 until October 2019. In this role, they focused on preprocessing and handling data in Python for use with Machine Learning models, conducting exploratory data analysis using Tableau and Jupyter labs, and using clustering methods to identify types of electricity consumers. Before that, George had experience as a Tractor Operator/Farm Hand at Miralwyn Cotton for four months in 2017 and as a Labourer at Sydneywide Partyhire for two months in the same year. George'searlier experience includes working at Digital Engineering Ltd as a Wind Analyst from January 2014 to September 2016. In this role, they utilized CFD modeling and local weather data to analyze wind turbine sites, developed processes for analyzing turbine performance, and implemented new methods for modeling wind turbine wakes. George also automated tasks using Python scripts.

George L. completed their A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and History at Strode College from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of the West of England from 2010 to 2013.
