Yehoram Hofman is an engine designer at Tour Engine. Yehoram has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on designing and developing engines for racing vehicles.
Yehoram started their career in August 1998 as a senior design engineer at Toyota Racing Development. Yehoram worked on Toyota's CART, IRL, NASCAR Craftsman Truck, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Engine programs. Yehoram was responsible for engine block design, intake manifold and cylinder head port design, chassis interface and engine integration with the chassis. Yehoram also worked on the car's cooling, oiling and drive systems to ensure that engine requirements were met.
In August 2009, Yehoram left Toyota to join Tour Engine as an engine designer. At Tour Engine, they are responsible for designing and developing engines for race cars. Yehoram has also worked on projects for the Nascar Sprint Cup Program, the Nascar Craftsman Truck Program, and the IRL Program.
Yehoram Hofman has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in Internal Combustion Engines. Yehoram also has a High School diploma from the Texas Academy of Math & Science at the University of North Texas.
