Aisling McDermott currently serves as the Head of Global Partnerships at Tourism Ireland, a position held since 2009, where responsibilities include leading the Global Partnerships team to enhance stakeholder relationships and boost tourism revenue for the island of Ireland. Prior roles include Manager for the Middle East and Asia at Tourism Ireland, overseeing marketing initiatives in China, the Middle East, India, and Japan, as well as various marketing positions at Marriott International and Mediaedge:cia. Aisling's career began at GlaxoSmithKline as a Client Services Assistant in the consumer healthcare division. Aisling holds a BSocSci in Economics & Social Policy from University College Dublin, an MSc in Marketing from Technological University Dublin, and a Diploma in Project Management from UCD Professional Academy.
