Jay Pennisson

Jay Pennisson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in financial roles. Jay served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Touro Infirmary, a community-based, not-for-profit hospital in New Orleans, from 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the CFO for West Jefferson Medical Center, which is part of the LCMC Heath network, from 2020 to 2023. Jay also held the position of Group CFO at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham from 2018 to 2020, overseeing the financial operations of multiple hospitals. Jay started their career at Tenet Healthcare in 1999, where they held various CFO positions, including in the Texas region and at Piedmont Medical Center. Jay has significant experience in financial management, contract negotiation, and improving revenue streams in the healthcare industry.

Jay Pennisson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Jay also holds an MBA from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in 2018.
