Glen Garcia

Glen Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Glen currently works as a Business Development Manager at TourRadar since July 2022. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, Glen worked at Nex Industrial Supplies Inc. as a Sales and Distribution Manager and an Account Manager. In these roles, they managed accounts across multiple territories, ensured customer satisfaction, and provided consultative services.

Before Nex Industrial Supplies, Glen worked at Travelport as a Business Development Manager in 2018. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at American Express Global Business Travel. In this role, they were responsible for driving results, developing and implementing processes, and managing performance plans.

Glen also had various roles at American Express Global Business Travel, including Business Development Manager, Supervisor, Action Desk Lead, and Senior Counsellor. These roles involved tasks such as providing guidance and support, defusing client escalations, and mentoring colleagues.

Glen started their career in the travel industry at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where they worked as an Executive Desk and Senior Counsellor from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Course Instructor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2000 and as an Emergency Travel Counsellor at American Express Global Business Travel from 1998 to 2000.

Glen Garcia attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a diploma in Travel and Tourism. Glen then enrolled in Carleton University from 1990 to 1993, focusing on the field of History. Additionally, they briefly attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2004 to 2005, studying Wine Steward/Sommelier, but did not obtain a degree.
