Matthew K. Lackey

Matt Lackey started his career at TEP in 2006 in the Inspections division shortly after obtaining his Bachelor of Science with a concentration in structures from North Carolina State University. He completed tower mappings, TIA inspections, and post-modification inspections on various telecommunications structures. He transitioned into the structures department in 2008 when transitioned to completing structural analyses and modification designs.

In 2010 he obtained his P.E. license in North Carolina, and has subsequently been licensed in New York and Virginia. He continued to work in the structures department in Raleigh until 2013, and then moved to Charlotte, NC to open a new office for TEP. The Charlotte office started as a structural office providing analyses and modification designs for telecommunications towers, water tanks, and specialty structures, and has since progressed into providing civil design services and field inspection services as well.
