Jon L.

Jon L. has a diverse work experience consisting of roles in both the private and military sectors. Jon started their career in 2004 as a Healthcare Specialist in the United States Army, where they developed skills in working independently and under pressure. In 2014, they joined Tower Hill Insurance Group, initially starting as an Overnight Operator and later moving up to the position of Linux System Administrator. During their time as an intern, they gained an understanding of the enterprise mindset and learned about the interdependencies of systems and applications. In 2020, Jon L. was promoted to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer at Tower Hill Insurance Group.

Jon L. attended Santa Fe College from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Geology/Earth Science. In terms of additional certifications, Jon obtained a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification from Red Hat in December 2018. Jon also obtained a Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) certification from the Linux Professional Institute in December 2017. Prior to that, Jon earned a CompTIA Network+ certification from CompTIA in December 2016, and a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in November 2016.
