Alec Chapman

Alec Chapman is currently a Sales Engineer at TowerIQ, Inc., since September 2023. Prior to this role, Alec served as a Project Engineer at Life Safety Systems, LLC, from July 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included designing and managing projects related to Fire Alarm, Public Safety DAS, and Security systems, along with creating Fire Alarm Permit Drawings in AutoCAD. Earlier experience includes positions as an AutoCAD Drafter and various Mechanical Engineering Internships at Carlisle Brake & Friction, The STEELASTIC Co., and Clinton Aluminum, where Alec focused on production engineering, design projects, scrap reduction, and layout coordination. Alec earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Akron, completing studies from 2016 to 2020.
