Maya Caines

Maya Caines currently serves as the Director of Residence Life & Student Experience at the College of the Atlantic and holds the position of Town Councilor for the Town of Bar Harbor. Additionally, Maya works as a contractor for LARK Studio LLC and previously served as Communications Coordinator for the Town of Bar Harbor, managing internal and external communications. Prior experience includes roles at The Jackson Laboratory as Program Administrator and Program Coordinator, where Maya enhanced marketing strategies and social media presence. Earlier work as a Research Assistant at The Aquaculture Research Institute involved overseeing aquaculture systems and conducting research-related tasks. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of Maine.
