Jeffrey Brown is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as an Evidence Detective with the Blacksburg (VA) Police Department since October 2023. Brown has also been a Police Officer for the Town of Blacksburg since May 2017. Additionally, Brown is a military instructor in the United States Army Reserve, assisting in the training of ROTC Cadets since October 2007. Prior experience includes roles as a Deputy Sheriff (K9 Handler and Corrections) at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office from October 2010 to May 2017 and as a Corrections Officer at the Western Virginia Regional Jail from November 2008 to October 2010. Brown earned a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law Studies from Liberty University between 2017 and 2020.
