Michael Via

Michael Via has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Lieutenant at the Town of Blacksburg since January 2014, with a background as a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigations Unit and as a Lead Training Officer. In addition to law enforcement, Michael operates Vent Avengers LLC, a specialized dryer vent cleaning company, since January 2023. Michael also has experience in real estate as a former agent with REMAX Central and worked as an Eligibility Worker at Montgomery County Social Services. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Fishing and Fisheries Sciences and Management from Virginia Tech.
