Randy Formica, PE ENV SP has a diverse work experience background. Randy started their career in 1981 as a Field Supervisor at D'Appolonia Consulting Engineers, where they worked until 1984. Randy then joined STS D'Appolonia Consulting Engineers as a Field Engineer and stayed with the company until 1986. From 1986 to 1988, Randy worked at Almes and Associates, Inc. as an Engineer. In 1988, they joined Norwood Inc. as a Civil Engineer and stayed there for a year. In 1989, Randy started working at Hercules Inc. Radford Army Ammunition Plant as an Engineer II until 1993. Their longest tenure was at the Town of Blacksburg where they served as the Town Engineer from 1994 to 2016, and then became the Director of Engineering and GIS from 2016 until the present.

Randy Formica, PE ENV SP completed their education at Bluefield State College from 1977 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
