Ben Verkaik

Ben Verkaik currently serves as a Town Councillor for Bradford West Gwillimbury, representing Ward 3 since November 2022. With extensive experience in plant management across various industries, Ben held roles including Plant Manager at Galata Chemicals (Canada) Inc. and IOI Loders Croklaan, and served as General Manager at Reaction Packaging Inc. Ben's earlier career included significant positions at Emery Oleochemicals Canada Ltd, GSW Thermoplastics, and Boston Insulated Wire & Cable, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing production, engineering, and safety management. Ben Verkaik earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which included a management science option.
