Tanya Foubert

Tanya Foubert is an experienced professional with a diverse background in journalism and public service. Currently serving as a Councillor for the Town of Canmore since October 2021, Tanya has also held roles such as Assistant Manager at Paintbox Lodge from January 2022 to February 2023. Previous experience includes a tenure as Morning Show Host at Mountain FM from October 2013 to October 2021, and editorial positions at the Rocky Mountain Outlook, where Tanya served as Editor from October 2018 to June 2021 and as Reporter from June 2013 to October 2018. Additionally, Tanya was Editor at The Whistler Question Newspaper for a year and worked as a Reporter for the Rocky Mountain Outlook prior to that. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Queen's University and a Certificate in Journalism from Mount Royal University.
