Faith Thompson

Faith Thompson has extensive experience in conflict management and dispute resolution, currently serving as Ombuds for the Town of Chapel Hill, NC since July 2013. Thompson's previous roles include Ombuds for the International Ombuds Association and the Town of Chapel Hill, along with significant experience in development and administration as Assistant Dean for Development at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Local Government from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Juris Doctor in Urban Law from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative & Legal Processes from Mills College. Thompson's professional affiliations include membership in the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and serving as Vice President of the Triangle Chapter.
