Lsw Valerie Bertsch

Valerie Bertsch, LSW, currently serves as the Council on Aging Outreach Coordinator for the Town of Concord, MA, since September 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Home Care Intake Specialist at Minuteman Senior Services from March 2016 to September 2020, where responsibilities involved conducting comprehensive, person-centered assessments for elders and educating them on community resources. Valerie's background also includes work as an Activities Assistant and Receptionist at The Arbors Assisted Living Communities from September 2010 to February 2016, providing support to residents with disabilities and facilitating social activities. An internship at Highland Valley Elder Services involved conducting home visits for Meals on Wheels consumers. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Westfield State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Holyoke Community College.
