Woody Washam

Woody Washam serves as the Senior Vice President at United Bank and the Mayor of the Town of Cornelius since May 2020. With extensive experience in commercial lending and business development, Woody previously held the title of Senior Vice President at Carolina Trust Bank from August 2014 to May 2020 and served as Lake Norman Market President at Alliance Bank and Trust for a brief period in August 2014. Prior roles include Market President at CommunityOne Bank, N.A. from September 2003 to March 2013 and Senior Vice President with SouthTrust Bank from 1993 to 2003. Woody Washam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Catawba College between 1968 and 1972.
