Carlene Shaw

Carlene Shaw, MPS, NC CZO, currently serves as the Town Planner for the Town of East Hartford, Connecticut, since February 2023. Prior to this role, Carlene held positions as Planner I for the City of Cambridge, Maryland, and Current Planner for the Pender County Department of Planning & Community Development. Carlene's earlier experience includes working as a GIS Technician for RAMTeCH Software Solutions and as a GIS Assistant during an internship with the Maine Army National Guard. Additionally, Carlene worked as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc. From an academic perspective, Carlene earned a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from SUNY New Paltz.
