Ken Sayers

Ken Sayers is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer for the Town of East Hartford, CT, since May 2012. With a focus on managing a team of seven technicians, Sayers oversees network and applications support while handling short and long-term budgetary planning for IT operations. Prior to this role, Sayers worked as a Network Administrator for East Hartford Public Schools from January 2001 to May 2012, managing routing, switching, and security appliances and planning equipment replacements. Sayers also has experience as a Photographer at The Willimantic Chronicle from October 2002 to December 2005. Education includes a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Goodwin College and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a focus on Communications and History from Eastern Connecticut State University.
