Winter Mitchell

Winter Mitchell is an experienced professional in recreation services, currently serving as the Acting Aquatic Services Supervisor and Recreation Services Supervisor for the Town of Georgina since September 2018. Previously, Winter held various roles in the same organization from March 2004 to November 2017, including Recreation Programmer for special events and adult programs, as well as for child and youth programs, focusing on developing and implementing community recreation initiatives. Winter's background also includes serving as a Television Host for "In Georgina - Special Events Minute" at Rogers Communications from February 2015 to December 2017. Certified as a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and NLS Lifeguard, Winter has hands-on experience in swim instruction and pool safety. Winter earned a Diploma in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Conestoga College from 2006 to 2008.
